In response to Dr. Jon Ahrendsen's comments;
1) Yes, the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine is only open to physicians,
whether they are MD's or DO's, or MBBS, etc...as long as they have a
current license to practice medicine in their state/territory/country.
(Different countries use different abbreviations for their degrees)
2) Yes, nonmembers may subscribe to the newsletter for $15.00 per year. Our
second newsletter will be out in December 1995. We will have either 2 or 3
newsletters in 1996
3)  Yes, our office has moved to Rochester New York. Our initial office was
at the site where our chair of the board resided, but since her move, we
decided on a permanent move for the ABM office to Rochester NY. Anyone may
