I have to wonder how many women that are talking about and criticizing the
Suave commercial have seen it...Why? Because what I'm seeing written does
not match up with what the commercial actually is.

The exact line in the commercial is:

"62% of Moms say that having a baby has left their hair and their breasts
flat."

Followed by...

"New Suave Volumizing for up to 170% more fullness."

Now, unless they have changed the ad (and I doubt that because if they had,
they would have released a press release stating as much to get the
publicity) then I'm left only to think that a few people spotted it on TV,
said what they saw and as we all played the telephone game it suddenly
became.

"X% of moms say nursing left their hair and their breasts flat."

And

"Suave can help with the hair."

Since everyone has been arguing that it's having a baby (and life) that make
your breasts flat and the commercial says that, then we're only left to
focus on the fact that there is an image of a nursing mother on this
commercial.

THAT is something to be celebrated, not to be upset about.

If you haven't seen the commercial, but would like to, here's how to do it.

Go to www.suave.com and click on the purple image at the top that looks like
a flower. (While you're at it, notice that the second purple image is a
nursing mom.) A window will pop up, click on the "watch and decide" link
and the commercial will play.

Warmly,
Jennifer Laycock
