Interestingly, Rachel, I heard yesterday from a colleague whose
sister lives in Norway.

The sister did not bf exclusively for very long - long story, but it
seemed from what I heard that there were huge problems - and
although very, very sad about not bf, did not feel any guilt or
pressure or criticism. She told my colleague that other people were
genuinely sympathetic, assuming (as it is the norm) that of course
she wanted to bf, and expressed their sadness for her that she was
missing out, didn't tell her 'it doesn't matter' or anything like
that.

This formula-feeding mother felt truly supported.

Way to go....: )
