Beloved Lactnetters:
Just to clarify, I was decrying the practice of giving
water BY MOUTH to infants to treat elevated bilirubin
levels...NOT via IV as part of a treatment regimen.

Again, there is no data that I know of that indicates
the benefit of filling a tiny stomach with water.

Show me the study.
