Several thoughts on Dr. Sears' website.

They may have gone offline due to the rapid and viceral response to rethink
their strategy. I couldn't get their website either from a link I know worked
last night.

IMHO, one of the biggest problems with Dr. Sears endorsing formula is that it
makes our position nearly untenable. How can we talk to people (HCPs,
legislators, policymakers and even our own spouses!) about changing the way
formula is marketed when one of our own has just bought into the whole
scheme. It feels like I've had the rug pulled out from under me. I dare not
tell my uninitiated dh what Dr. Sears did for fear that he'll say, "See.
You've been wasting your time on all this activism. This can possibly be an
issue if Dr. Sears is doing it."

Betrayed in the extreme.
