I agree with Beth Williams that the value of LACTNET lies not in extra
credits we might be able to obtain (which I doubt), but rather in the free
exchange of information/knowledge/ideas from like-minded individuals. I
would hate for us to seriously consider some bureaucratic technique solely
to obtain such credits, particularly as I believe it would require much
greater formality in presentation of topics and replies to same.

That, clearly, as noted by the other co-owner, was never our intent in
establishing LACTNET.

Let us all enjoy the flow of ideas and sharing, which is the whole point,
and not worry about what else we might get from same.  KGA
