I was listening to Vermont Public Radio's Switchboard program last night and they wanted to know what listeners were doing to help hurricane victims. It was like I had been hit by a bolt of lightning - I went directly to the phone and called!
I was sort of in a state of shock and was certainly not eloquent but I said that LLLLeaders and LCs were collecting books and gathering info so that mothers could get good breastfeeding help. I wish I had said that everyone of us can follow our passions and help in some small way. Next time I have the opportunity - which is today! A letter to the editor at the Brattleboro Reformer!! (Thanks Janice for that good website on how to write that letter.)
