Has anyone used or have any experience with the new breast pads called "Lily Padz"
They are some sort of sticky plastic. (from the web site: are composed of gas permeable silicone ) I called the company and they happily sent me a set.
The company claims moms can reuse them, they should last for a month.
The idea is the mom sticks the pad to her breasts( while pushing the nipple its self in to the areola so the nipple area is flat)and they prevent leaks etc. My concern and curiosity is if they would promote a thrush issue.Because it forms a plastic "shell" over the nipple with warm breastmilk in a dark damp enviroment.
So, ladies and gents what are your opinions?
