Thanks for the suggestions. This particular baby just does not like the
football hold. I don't know if the mom will go for the finger feeding, but
that is a good idea. Don't have my notes here at home but I am sure we did
FF in the early stages, as I would not go to a bottle right away. Also we
tried cup feeding and he just dribbled it all out everywhere. That's when I
referred her to ST.
Her feeling seems to be to treat the thrush she has now (nipple pain x last
1 wk, pink nipples), see the chiro on 9/16 and start fresh. She just said
she could not handle anything new at this point and really didn't want to
even try to put baby to breast w. the nip pain she is having.
