Holy Toledo!  I just cannot understand the thinking here.  Help me.
Here is a woman who is, presumably, at the very youngest, in her early
twenties, perhaps in her forties.  She has got to get bilateral
mastectomies *as soon as possible*.  Like if the cancerous cells have
not started multiplying already, they might start in the next two
months, right?  Gotta force wean the child in the next 8 weeks.  These
surgeons must have had some cancellations for surgery in the next few
months.  Any proof that this procedure prevents breast cancer?  It
prevents breasts, that's for sure.  Maybe she already has metastases in
her liver.  Maybe she will never develop breast cancer.  How does anyone
know?  Mutilation on the rather small chance that it will save you a few
years?  If anyone suggested that men be castrated because of a history
of testicular cancer in the family they would be put on anti-psychotic
medication.  Force a 4 year old to wean to fit the schedules of a
surgeon?  I would laugh in his face.

Both my parents have had strokes.  Maybe I should have stents put into
my carotids right away to prevent that happening to me.  You gotta die
of something.  The only way not to die is not to be born.
