I've been reading all of the responses to this email over the last day,
and I feel like something very basic might be happening here. You say
that block feedings were instituted, but for how long and how often????
This, to me, seems to be a critical point. Green, watery, mucousy
stools are a huge flag for a hindmilk/foremilk imbalance (and while I
know that not everyone on this list subscribes to this belief, I have
counseled many mothers with the same symptoms as your mother, and when
block feeding and adjusting the supply and demand system are done
correctly, the green, watery stools go away).

Perhaps this is a case of looking unnecessarily for a zebra when
returning to the basics is all that is needed.

Food for thought...
