She is getting painful milk blisters on the left nipple, which

I have a client with persistent milk blisters too, on the same ductal
opening. I searched the archives and found 3 posts that pointed to yeast
as the cause, and in which Diflucan stopped the recurrance.

I have suggested Gentian Violet first for my client. Baby had been treated
for thrush earlier but seemed to be free at this time. She has no sore
nipples and this bleeb is the only symptom she has. Strange.

In the past, I have found soaking in epsom salts to be helpful, and the
soaks had to be over several days. My client did find that it helped the
initial relief, but hers recurred. So she is now trying the GV.
