Was it black on both sides, or just the side with the (now gone) lump?

Did she save the black milk for examination? (visual, microscopy,
culture?) It's rare (and more common in immunosuppressed individuals)
but not impossible to get aspergillosis of the breast, though the
"black" could just be old coagulated blood from an abscess/bleed into a
galactocoele.

Is she well or ill in general? Has she had a full blood picture? How
painful and tender was the lump? Were there swollen lymph nodes,
surrounding cellulitis? I think there is quite a bit of clinical
information here that can't usefully be evaluated over the phone.
