One of the red flags for me was the "LC" telling her that one bottle of
formula a day wouldn't be a problem for the baby.  So I went to the IBLCE website
to see if I could find her and see if she is, in fact, an IBCLC.  Surprise,
surprise, though I checked all the states around NYC, she wasn't listed.

Perhaps this "LC" simply didn't know HOW to help this mother, because as
Laurie pointed out, there were a LOT of red flags.  Nursing 18 hours a day????
Babies do that when they aren't getting enough to eat.....

Major red flag.
