Pat,

I was informed just yesterday by a law agency here in FL about a man named
Lacovitch (not sure of the spelling) or it might be Octalokivs. He is
currently working on a Parent's Bill of Rights for parents being harrassed by
Dept. of Families and Children's Services. I have pretty good reason to
believe he would be very intrigued by this woman's plight and might be able to
offer her, at the very least, a network of support. I wish I knew more about
how you could contact him, but I'm sure some lawyers in the area have heard of
him. Tell her to contact him.

I sincerely hope this helps. While I am a firm believer that all claims need
to be investigated, I also know, first hand, that one person who has a grudge,
be it personal or otherwise, can cause all kinds of unnecessary stress and
false allegations for an otherwise loving parent. I guess some people have
nothing better to do with their time. She may need to look into getting a
private lawyer... maybe a public defender... but I was told they only take
referred cases brought to them from law enforcement, so she might have to file
a harrassment claim through the police or local courthouse. I am only in the
process of finding out the avenues to take myself so I can't be more specific
at this time, but if you need more information, I'll be happy to share it as I
get it.
