     Your post was forwarded to lactnet.  If you want literature citations on
breastmilk and NEC and/or hypoglycemia in the newborn let me know.  I have
tons of them and quite a few on breastfeeding premies as well.
     Your post caught my eye because of this outrageous doctor's
misinformation but also because you are from Tacoma.  I live in Lakewood and
am a L&D nurse at Madigan.  We are working on revising our breastfeeding
protocols and in the process I have done a ton of research.  This doc is way
way off base.
