Fellow Lactnetters, let's all stand up and cheer for Teresa for listening to
her conscience and living out her commitment to mothers and babies!!!!!It
had to be hard to walk away from a book when she had already put lots of
(now unpaid) time into it. Many people would have rationalized "Well,
there's alot of other good advice in the book, and I've already invested a
lot of time, and after all, he's entitled to his opinion...." but she made a
decision from her ***character*** to disassociate herself from a book so
full of bad science and bad advice.

Teresa, is there a chance that the publisher would pay attention to
credible, published sources to show that this publishing this book would be
a mistake from a scientific view?
