Hi Jeanne. I like to think of these types of babies as challenged by some
set of circumstances that may or may not be obvious to me...as the LC
involved. The word "lazy" implies a choice that the baby is making... I
have heard many many mothers say that the hospital nurse called their baby
lazy..and this use of the word is one of my red flags..indicating a
situation where I , as the LC, may not understand the challenges the baby
is facing. It's me, then, not able to figure the puzzle out, rather than a
baby who is not willing to put in the effort.

Sorry to be picky, but this use of the word is one of my pet peeves. : )
