I am an internist practicing in Portland, OR. Because of insurance company
requirements I see alot of women to confirm their pregnany and give a
referral for OB care. I would like to be able to give these women
pamphlets about the advantages of breast feeding and the options for BF
after return to work (like pumping and the rest). I feel that giving them
the number for LLLI and the local lactation services is inadequate; they
may never call. I know just how much mail they will get from the formula
companies. I would like to give them something in writing that they can
review on their own that gets the jump on the propaganda. Multilingual
would also be fabulous (vietnamese and spanish especially).
