I want to second Patricia Gima's inspiring post regarding ILCA and our
support of it. I know how hard it is to be on a board and to try to satisfy
diverse and divergent interests. Let's get behind our professional
organization. We don't necessarily have to agree with everything the Board
decides to do, but if we don't, let's let the Board know, not air our
grievances here.

Thank you for the message, Pat. And I WILL consider attending an ILCA
conference again (but not until the exchange rate between Canada and the US
improves--I figure it would cost me in the region of $3000 Cdn to attend
this year and I don't need CERPs or a tax deduction that badly just yet!
Sure could use the wonderful camaraderie I enjoyed in Chicago and Toronto,
though).
