The other items Jaye forgot to mention is when a doctor does a procedure the sterilized instruments need to be considered.  They need to be cleaned (time of office staff after the procedure) then wrapped and taped a specific way, then are sterilized and put aside for the next procedure.  That takes time of staff above what the procedure even comes close to – plus a different set of billing codes compared to a regular visit.

Just my .02 of the devil’s advocate.
