My name is Margaret Amyot.  I am the Librarian at the Grace Hospital Library
in Winnipeg,Manitoba.  I have been asked by  Florence Klassen, one of our
Clinical Instructors in Obstetrics to find out some information about
breastfeeding anaphylaxis. Specifically we are looking for information on
the swelling of the mandibular glands during breastfeeding.  Is this related
to anaphylaxis or allergies?  What would be the possible causes and
treatment of this?  The patient who has experienced this also has
"hereditary spherocytosis".  Is there a link with the anaphylaxis or
allergy?  Would you be able to help us with this question or direct us to a
