Aloha,

 having been told not to drink while BF."

Just my two cents on this-----I avoid aspartame whether I am
breastfeeding and/or pregnant or not.

I imagine it is a good alternative for people who cannot be consuming
sugar, but for everyone else, do those few calories make that much
difference-----isn't it fat consumption we should be concerned about?

I have info on this artificial sweetener  if anyone is interested.
