Ask if she is following the following the Babywise book or "Prep for
Parenthood" or "Along the Infant Way" by the Ezzos. Four feeds a day,
sleeping through the night, and long naps are goals to attain as early as
possible in these "infant management programs" by Gary Ezzo. Insufficient
milk supply is an unfortunate result of attaining theses "goals."

The Babywise book also warns mothers that people in the "lactation industry"
are biased and may not have "a working understanding of the benefits of
routine breastfeeding dynamics" meaning strict scheduling. And to only
follow instructions if they agree with his schedule.

Sheila Stubbs, LLL Leader,
and moderator for the "Free from Ezzo" egroup for those former uses of the
Ezzo programs
