Hi all~
I have been a lurker off and on for several years. A friend asked me a question that I did not know the answer to, but I am sure that someone on this listserv has had experience with this. If you have any words of wisdom, please do share!
Thanks,
Jennifer Williams, CNM

Here is a quick little paragraph of
what I am looking for:
I am writing a project proposal for the College of Nursing at the
University of New Mexico to start a lactation program to include the
use of a Nursing Mothers Room. Currently there is no policy regarding
breastfeeding at the college and no accomodations for breastfeeding
staff, faculty or students. As a student I had to sit in the bathroom
to pump while others came in and out. It has inspired me try to
change that, but I am coming up short on some of the research I need
to show how to enact such a policy/program. I need journal articles
or studies regarding how to start a lactation program in the
workplace. I need information about what corporations tried, what
worked for them and what didn't, and estimate of costs, where the
funding came from, was is worth the money, how much did it affect the
workplace (morale, absenteeism etc). Any information you may have
would be much appreciated.
