PTP:

Mother exclusively breastfeeding 3.5 month old daughter with no issues. Goes in for a standard dental filling and receives mepivacaine. Next day daughter nurses every 30 minutes and is fussy and bobbing on and off. Mother feels she's never had a problem with milk supply. Calls her OB who says that mepivacaine can have a "drying" effect. Dentist says he's never heard of any issues. LactMed has no information on it. Anyone run into something like this?
