How about saying to pregnant women,
"Most mothers have questions about breastfeeding. What would you like to know?"
This ASSUMES she will be nursing and lets her know that it is a learned skill. It gives her a nice opening to share her hopes, and maybe her fears,  and to air all the old wives tales she has heard.
