Hello,

In Lawrence, page 71 it states "Progesterone, in turn indues the specific cell of the tubular invaginations to produce distinct ducts, which branch from the main tubules."

But on page 75 it states  "...progesterone does not inhibit established lactation because breast tissue does not contain progesterone-binding sites."

Can anyone clarify this discrepancy?   Could it be that breast tissue is referring to another tissue besides the tubular cells?  Does progesterone

stimulate growth via another mechanism?

Thanks for your help.  Chris
