This is for Gloria, who is helping the mom who had recurrent mastitis and
blood in her milk. Now the doctor wants to get a mammogram. Yes! By all
means, there is a form of breast cancer that can appear as a recurrent
mastitis in a lactating woman. Radiologists are frequently reluctant to read
a mammogram on a lactating woman, but this is a serious issue. I would
recommend a mammogram on any lactating woman with more than two recurrent
episodes of mastitis, if I knew her compliance with her treatment had been
complete.

Let us know the follow up on this, okay?
