before that hormone ratios at 38 weeks gestation is the  determining factor.
I really do not like saddling moms with guilt when they  do all the right
things and their period starts at 4-6 weeks postpartum  anyway.



Dear Friends:
    There are women whose period starts well before the  6 month mark, even 
when they are exclusively breastfeeding. Such women can not  use LAM, a 
condition of which is that menses have not resumed.
