Hi Margo and all

Please, please, please, do not refer to the lastest WHO growth standards as
'the breastfed baby charts'.
The WHO is very very explicit in its assertion that the charts that were
released in 2006 are *not* 'for breastfed babies'.  They depict normal
growth for *all* babies. Artificially fed infants do not grow normally and
that is why the CDC and related charts are inaccurate (for all babies) -
because they are based on a largely artificially fed population.
If we (the lactation supporters and advocates) call these 'the breastfed
charts' we will have no one but ourselves to blame when one of the big
pharmas release 'the formula fed baby charts' in an effort to hide the fact
that babies who are not breastfed do not grow and develop normally.
