It is my understanding that the Pump In Style is not for mothers of
premature babies. It is for mothers with established milk supplies, and this
is the information I got directly from Medela. If anyone has any questions
on this, call them at 1 800 435 8316. However...the Lactina and CLassic
pumps are more appropriate in this situation of prematurity...and I would
also like to add a word about mothers not calling with problems pumping. It
is my experience (12 years worth) that mothers do *not* call with problems.
Often this is because they do not know otherwise...and do not know what to
expect..so a decreasing supply often, to them, means that they just don't
have the milk. Period. NO call. Just quit,.

Just my experience. I'd go for a different pump for preemie moms everytime.
