It's true that if that is someone is looking for infomation on weaning and it
is not in the above listed books, then there is a very good chance the info
about said weaning is wrong.

However, I did want to make doubly sure I wasn't missing anything as I am not
a trained medical professional -I am a La Leche League Leader.  To me, there
would be nothing worse than to suggest to  the mom the advice to wean is
baseless, and then discover I missed some information in one of these books
simply because I don't have the background necessary to research medical
conditions from every angle.

I'm grateful for this forum that is available to me.  Yes, it usually confirms
what I already suspect when I ask a question, but it's always comforting to
make sure.
