 Hi Brandi
Mothers who have GD or who expect their babies to be treated in Special Care
or Intensive Care nurseries are encouraged to express and store milk for
their births if they can. This milk is then given to the baby in preference
to modified animal milks in the early days if the mother is unable to supply
all of the babies needs postnatally.
Human milk for human babies.
