It's me again (trying to set an all time new personal record for the most LN
posts in a row): Does anyone have a personally designed (not from a pump
company) sheet that they hand out to moms renting pumps? I have the storage
info sheets from Medela and the "Returning to Work" tear offs, and Diane
W.'s great handouts, but I'm looking for something like all the tid bits
we've been sharing. I plan to compile as many good tips as possible and
then make it available to everyone who is willing to share their ideas (sort
of a co-op). I've copied many of the posts on this and will be contacting
people privately about their interest.

I truly appreciate all the responses I received about renting vs. buying and
I think I'm going to do some of each. For 12 years in practice I've been
referring moms to our local hospital and other LCs for renting pumps, but
I've now got the clinical space and I'm taking the plunge. On the scarier
side, one of my patients just shared this: she loaned her PiS to a friend
(yes, I know they aren't for loaning) and while she was at the friend's
house, her friend's 4 year old took out the pump and decided to use the
pump as a "urine extractor." (Her words, not mine). Has anyone else had
similar incidents? I have heard rumors of certain men purchasing pumps for
non-intended purposes (although the 4 year old incident was innocent enough,
I wonder about unmarried adult men inquiring about breastpumps). In your
experience, how common is this?
