I have always admired the posts that your program's students send to
Lactnet.  They are among the most intelligent posts that we see here...and
that's saying a lot.  All respect and kudos to you, the students that have
joined us here on Lactnet over the years, and to Cindy Anderson and all
others responsible for their valuable participation here.  I only wish that
the nursing programs in Miami would do this!

My name is Patty Vari, MS, RN, IBCLC. I am currently the Clinical
Assistant Professor for the Childbearing I and II classes. Cindy
Anderson, WHNP, MS, IBCLC, PhD candidate, who is on developmental leave
this year, has been the Clinical Associate Professor of these classes
for many years. She is the one person who is totally responsible for the
development of this assignment.  It has been a privilege for me to work
with the Childbearing students for this school year and this assignment
has been the most rewarding student/teacher interaction/assignment with
