I've used the Malta Breastfeeding Foundation's downloadable pps re: "Infant
Feeding Affects Climate Change" for a number of presentations -- always
makes a big impression! My computer wants to download it, though, every time
I go to page vs. displaying the page address, so I'm including a link to an
article I wrote last year for Babygooroo -- there are links for MBF and the
pps... Go to (but cut/paste is required due to quotations marks in address,
which won't let me make a tiny url):

Love this -- reminds me of Dr. Steve Buescher's presentation on the
different gases emitted by the formula-fed vs. breastfed infant. He noted
several greenhouse gases for formula-fed infants. But exclusively BF babies
emit hydrogen. He suggested one avoid lighting a match near their back ends
but no worries about the environment!
