Me again. I just wanted to add that Barb Otterson's"older" doctor clearly observed what we know to be a fairly common pattern: breastfed babies tend to be high on the charts until about six months, often peaking around 3-4 months, then falling to more "average" (and sometimes lower than "average") curves. All this, of course, compared with formula-fed babies. Why are we still considering formula-fed babies to be the "standard"? does anyone know when the breastfed babies growth charts thw WHO was putting together will begin to actually be used?
