Hello!!
  After almost nine years of working with breastfeeding moms and not having
any moms with breast reduction surgery refered to me (either no one notified
me or mom did not choose to breastfeed) I have recently had two moms with
breast reduction choose to breastfeed. One was the wife of a chiropracter
and the other the daughter of a doc/and wife of a dentist.  The first wasn't
sure how the surgery was done but the second had an eight hour long surgery
to make it more possible to breastfeed.  These women were also well educated
themselves. I am excited to say that both were breastfeeding (some
assistance in the area of pumping and using sns at first) quite well.  When
I did initial research I did not find as much information as I had hoped.
But when I pulled up info from the archives I was delighted to see others
who also had success. So I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone
who posts because you never know who you might be helping. Carrie Wilkinson
