Before this is completely blown out of proportion due to word-of-mouth..if
this is the same conference/class that I attended...She was not stating that
it DID impair function, she was talking about weighing evidence-based vs.
just indiscriminate prescribing of techniques, lotions, products. Looking at
what the ramifications are or could be and whether or not a product we are
suggesting a mom use is "prescribing" or offering something not approved for
that use that could later be used against the profession, the lactation
consultant, or breastfeeding...if I read her correctly.
