I have a mom that I've been working with for several weeks and would love
any collective wisdom:

8 week old baby; mom has had crack at nipple base since baby few days old;

tongue clipped at 3 weeks; mom on oral contraceptives to control over
supply, every time she tries to go off the OC's supply rebounds again.
Also has very strong let-down. Baby is on and off pulling at breast when
supply is high.

She rested the left side, with the crack - and pumped only x 1 week,
using extra large pump flanges because her nipples really swell with
pumping.

She has used Jack Newman's APNO, she's been on two courses of oral
antibiotics.

Baby has had craniosacral therapy.

Has anyone had any experience with using vitamin B 6 for decreasing supply?

Baby had low grade temp last week and streaks of blood in stools.

We are going to look more carefully at her diet tomorrow and take her off
sugar, and she is going to look at some vitamin supplimentation - my years
as a would care nurse lead me to believe that maybe there is need of this
at this point.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
