epidurals are "her to stay" for some of the same reasons that bottles are
'here to stay" ... mothers/fathers/physicians want to be able to schedule
children to "fit" into th ier lives not adjsut to meet the needs of children.

additionally people ( in general ) want to "not feel". I beleive that a
piece of the avoidence of breastfeeding is the fear of "feeling"/ becoming
attached/getting emothional about tis child... what happens in "unmedicated
birthing"? one feels, one is emotional it is a MAJOR life experiece if one
allows oneself this... most poeple don't want to do that...

what can we do.... inform inform and inform some more... help
mother/fathers to become informed consumers and bring up thier children to be
so. break the cycle.

the air is a tad thin her so I shall step down.
