I completely agree with Kirsten that there is a socioeconomic divide in the US 
concerning who has the ability to pump at work. I have many corporate 
women in my classes who get a really significant amount of support for 
pumping in the work place. One banker in my class said that every 
breastfeeding mom going back to work was given a new Pump in Style upon 
returning. 

This is in sharp contrast to women working on assembly lines, who in some 
factories have to fight for the right to urinate let alone breastfeed. It seems 
to me that the only answer to this, is legislation that mandates a right to 
breastfeed (and urinate!) and/or pump in the workplace. I would be very 
interested to hear on or offlist about efforts beyond C. Mahoney's that 
address this issue in the US.
