Many of our clients are now being told that they will receive a "shot of
Pitocin" immediately postpartum. They are told it is mandatory. I recall
discussing this before, but I'm having trouble finding anything in the LACTNET
archives. I'm attempting to determine what, if any, affect this has on the
initiation of breastfeeding.
