Carol and Elisheva,

Your reasoning about Modified Cow's Milk makes EXCELLENT sense to me!
MCM. Just "saying it like it really is!" Pretty hard for the
pharmaceutical people to get around that!

Either that or "modified cow's milk formula" Hm-m-m MCMF. And MVF
(Modified Vegetable Formula) for Isomil? Or MBF? Modified Bean Formula?
Or MMF? Modified Meat Formula, for Nutramigen? Or better yet,

MCMS,MVS,MBS,MMS - Modified....Substitution? MCMR,MVR,MBR,MMF -
Modified...Replacement?

Even though WE know that nothing could actually really either SUBSTITUTE
for or REPLACE human breast milk, substitute seemed to me to denote more
an action of the adults versus a function of the liquid..

I know that Paula Meier uses MOM for Mom's Own Milk. We need to keep
working on that thread. I think it has great informational, educational
(and adversarial to advertisement hype) promise!

Jean
