<So breastfeeding is a pseudo medical issue looking for a home. And WE
have
a home to offer. Please hear us.>

Hooray for you Pat. You defined a new dimension with your analysis,
something I've always known "at the gut level", observing it at work in
one way or another in so many physicians, but have seldom seen put so
ably into words. There is a fine line between medical issues that impact
the breastfeeding infant and his mother, and the much larger set of
activities of daily living that are just as much a birthright as
breathing oxygen and walking upright, that physicians and the whole of
society, regard as the way humans are designed to savor life.Would that
physicians and others in the health care field come to value, respect and
use the services of our profession as they do those of the respiratory
therapy and physical therapy professions.
