I read on the Cincinnati Enquirer's home page that several Wal-Marts in Ohio
have told women they could not breastfeed in the store. I am glad that I
live in a state (Texas) that has a law protecting every woman's right to
breastfeed her child whereever she has a right to be (including Wal-Mart).

Even though no one at any of my local Wal-Marts has ever, to my knowledge,
made any inappropriate comments to any patrons breastfeeding their children,
I will not be shopping at these stores until I hear that the Ohio Wal-Marts
have changed their mind about this issue. What one Wal-Mart employee or
manager does affects the whole company's reputation. Perhaps you need a
national policy in support of breastfeeding?
