I would suggest she needs to have her breasts examined, are they hypoplastic
for example? Has she had any breast surgery?
Then I would ask about PCOS and if she does not think she has this or has
never been diagnosed I would ask about some of the physical characteristics
and metabolic issues (gestational diabetes or "borderline" on her glucose
test during pg), and there are lab tests that go along with that esp.
testosterone levels but not sure when they should be tested, or anytime I'd
guess? If she has indications for PCOS, she might benefit from taking
metformin during pg and lactation, and using galactagogues asap after the
birth.
