I guess I don't understand all the fuss about cow's milk [or goat's milk or
any other species milk] in older children or adults who are not allergic
and who tolerate it well. Sure, humans don't need it to survive but it
seems like a reasonable source of protein and calcium with some
carbohydrate and fat. I can't believe mothers would prefer Orange juice to
milk for their older children as it provides only carbohydrate. If we want
to get fussy about the source of proteins we ingest, hadn't we better look
to cannabalism as that is the only way once we stop breastfeeding that we
are going to get human proteins in us.
Is milk from other species detrimental to older children or adults or is it
just another food chice like steak [cow protein] or eggs[ chook protein] or
soya bean [soy protein] etc, etc.
From a healthy Caucasian adult milk lover whose Lactase production has been
ongoing since birth.
