These are the ingredients:
Ingredients
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Beeswax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Soybean Glycerides, Persea Gratissima (Organic Avocado) Oil (Organic Ingredients), Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil Unsaponifiables, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Olea Europaea (Organic Olive) Fruit Oil (Organic Ingredients), Butyrospermum Parkii (Organic Shea Butter) (Organic Ingredients), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Palmitate), Lactis Proteinum (Milk Protein), Tocopherol (Antioxidant).

You have several of the most common allergens here including including cow milk protein!! Ascorbyl Palmitate comes from corn (as does most vit C--a huge problem for the growing number so kids with corn allergy), you have soy and numerous other food sources. I prefer single sources--then if there is an allergy, I know what it is. Also note the almond oil is not organic.

I have used coconut oil for over a decade with few moms having any problems with it. Besides, it's often mom's first introduction to a very healthy food.

Subject: First Years Nipple Butter

Has anyone had experience with people who have used the First Years Nipple
Butter that is "all organic" I was a little worried about the almond oil, I know
there is a differnce between sweet and bitter oil as far as one being toxic. I
also had read a journal article that showed growth of S. capitis in an almond
oil bottle. I really dont like any creams, but some times we have to "mother the
mother" and I wanted to know what some of the rest of you think. any help would
be great!
